Here is what's up next for Young Adults at the Casa!
Essays on Christian Truth in Middle Earth
Tuesday evenings from
January 14 to February 4
6:30 to 8 pm
Join us for some cozy book club energy! We are spending the time reading Lewis and Tolkien essays and then discussing themes that are revealed. This is an open invitation to any young adult of any faith or no faith at all.
Attend all four sessions or drop in on those you can make. Each week will be a different theme and the essays will be read together.
But wait! There is so much more!
Monthly Courtyard Convos
Next gathering is Friday, January 17 - Topic: Conversations about dating
Starts at 6:30 pm in Capistrano room
Each month has a different topic, theme, or activity. All are welcome to join us for dinner together, socializing, and learning a little bit more about how to live our faith in our adult lives.

The Four Elements Retreat
Save the date : February 1st
A peer-led, day-long hiking retreat that invites participants to reflect on how we, like St. Francis, can recognize the incarnation of God in the material world (represented by the four elements). A small team of community members lead the retreat by inviting us to stop periodically along the hike and reflect on/discuss how God is found in the symbols of:
Wind (how God inspires and gives us life)
Fire (how God is the spark of our passion)
Water (how God refreshes and renews us)
Earth (how God grounds us in humility)
