Our Domestic and International Service & Immersion Program is interwoven into all Faith Formation ministries (except Family Ministry).  It consists of one-day to multiple-day experiences that cultivate a spirit of SOLIDARITY among all involved.  Invited to participate are community members and all other friends of the Casa, from teenagers on up to senior citizens.  Like St. Francis, we believe that all who make up the Church today are sent out in Mission.  â€‹

"Go Make a Difference in the World!"

What is a Casa Service Trip?

A Casa Service Trip is a “hands-on” response from our faith community to address the immediate needs of our brothers and sisters living with and dealing with the hardships of poverty, no matter where they are in the world. Incorporated into the service trip experience is reflection and prayer that help participants connect their action to their faith. These programs usually require fundraising.

What is a Casa Immersion Trip?

A Casa Immersion Trip is an opportunity to be in solidarity with the poor and vulnerable by physically “meeting them where they are.” Participants literally “immerse” themselves into these communities where empathy and first-hand experience lead to a better understanding of the issues at play. Immersion trips usually do not address immediate needs, but help communities work toward a more just and fair society.
